Our
thanks to the family of the late Herbert Winzer for their gift of a new
pulpit light, in his memory.

Franczeska
Birch, aged 7, won a toy lion in the Sunday school Christmas draw and
decided to name it Herbert after the late Herbert Winzer.

SERVICES 24 DEC 2006
Thank you
Xavier and Linda for taking the services, and making them so

SUNDAY
SCHOOL CHRISTMAS RAFFLE
The
raffle was drawn in church at the end of the morning Eucharist on the
24th December 2006. It made £74 for church funds. Thank
you to those who provided the prizes, sold tickets and bought
tickets.

Family Eucharist -
St Nicholas did arrive!
He collected many bags of presents to
take for St Paul's, Salford. Thank you to everyone who brought gifts
for less fortunate children. St Nicholas told us about his life
and how he had helped some poor girls by secretly giving them bags of
gold. He gave biscuits to our good girls and boys, and he presented the
Sunday school prizes.

Our Sunday school Christmas
Fayre was a great success. We had lots of fun and managed to raise
£93.69 for church funds. Well done everyone. Thank you to all the
helpers, and to those who gave gifts and donations.

Lions Youth Band - A wonderful evening was had by
all. It raised £551.59 for church funds. Thank you Nigel
and the bands, and thank you Christine and your family for the fantastic
evening.
